    Before
Pre-op patient smile showing a prosthesis on the anterior incisor teeth suffering from dental caries. The decay on the right lateral incisor was so deep that was not possible to save the remaining root; it was possible to save the root on the other three incisors.

    After
The smile was completely transformed following cementation of four full-ceramic crowns. Dental decay was also removed from the remaining teeth; tooth whitening was also completed preceding crown cementation.

The extracted root was replaced by a dental implant. A full-ceramic abutment was connected to the dental implant; finally, a full-ceramic crown was cemented to the full-ceramic abutment. A perfect integration of the three full-ceramic crowns on natural teeth with the implant-supported full-ceramic crown was achieved.

  • primo caso

    Before
Lower PFM (porcelain-fused to metal) three-unit bridge from second molar to second premolar. Wear and lack of anatomical shape of the bridge is noticeable as well as chronic inflammation of the gum around the abutment teeth.

    After
Post-op view following the cementation of three single crowns. The first molar is an implant-supported crown; conversely, the second molar and the second premolar received conventional crowns cemented on natural teeth. The patient can perform a more accurate oral hygiene using dental floss between the restored teeth. Gums are healthy.

    Before
A removable partial denture is responsible for this unnatural smile. Patient used to hide her teeth with her hand while talking or smiling

    After
Zirconia based full ceramic crowns were cemented on both natural teeth and zirconia implant abutments. The new shape, color and position of the teeth helped to achieve a very pleasant smile.

    Before
Patient smile showing an old upper single piece bridge; tooth shape and proportion is altered and the tooth shade is not natural. The patient was looking for a new fixed prosthesis.

    After
At the age of 70, patient discovers the pleasure of smiling again; zirconia based full ceramic crowns were cemented on both natural teeth and zirconia implant abutments. Teeth are not splinted anymore and patient can show her happiness throghout the new smile.

    Before
Partially edentulous patient due to loss of right and left lower molars. Implants were inserted and left undisturbed to complete the osseo-integration.

After 3 months, 4 abutments were connected to the implants; 4 metal ceramic crowns (two per side) were cemented. Patient masticatory function was re-established.

  • primo caso

    Before
Patient masticatory function is compromised due to loss of the first upper molar. The insertion of a dental implant was considered the ideal treatment to avoid preping the adjacent teeth .

    Before   Before

    After
After 4 months, an abutment was connected to the implant and a metal ceramic crown was cemented. The amalgam filling was replaced with a composite resin filling on the second molar.

  • primo caso

    Before
Lower arch presenting a temporary crown on the second molar; conversely, the first molar was lost. Patient wants to avoid the tooth preparation of the second premolar and asked to replace the missing tooth with a dental implant.

    Prima   Prima

    After
Dr Deliperi placed a dental implant to replace the root of the first molar; he also completed a guided bone regeneration to replace the missing bone tissue. Once implant integration was achieved, a precision impression was taken to fabricate two PFM crowns on both the natural tooth (second molar) and the implant tooth (first molar). Both function and aesthetics were achieved preserving the sound tooth structure of adjacent teeth.
