Adult male patient with maxillary lateral incisor agenesis. After completing orthodontic treatment, implant placement was originally planned to replace the missing teeth. Due to diagnosis of  acute leukemia and prolonged chemotherapy during the orthodontic treatment, implant insertion was discouraged.

Gingival plastic surgery was completed on the area of the lateral incisors to create an ovate pontic. Central incisors and canines were prepped for porcelain veneers. Preparation was very conservative and limited to enamel.
