Dr Deliperi also loves to perform tooth whitening in very complex cases where gingival and/or prosthetic therapies are planned. If teeth are not structurally compromised, tooth whitening allows to avoid tooth prep and select a whiter shade of the final prosthetic caps.
Case 1
Before
Tooth discoloration from coffee stains particularly evident on the canine teeth; malformed upper incisors teeth are notable as well as diastema between the central incisors.
After
The smile after tooth whitening therapy for two weeks, diastema closure and re-shaping of upper teeth through composite resin veneers. No sound tooth structure was removed.
Case 2
Before
Tetracycline stains with yellow-violet horizontal banding; it's also noticeable the presence of mismatched crowns and fillings.
After
The same teeth after an appropriate tooth-whitening therapy; Dr Deliperi replaced the existing fillings on the central incisors and cemented two all-ceramic crowns on lateral incisors.

The canine and premolar teeth tooth whitening plus the gingival and prosthetic therapy allowed to select a whiter and brighter crown shade. A brilliant smile was achieved!

Gingival plastic surgery and tooth whitening allowed a transformation of both tooth color and shape.
